Winning with Trust and Authenticity

Spero Studio Named Finalist for Seven Reed Awards

At Spero Studio, we channel hope into action and trust into enduring change—and this election cycle, we saw firsthand how that approach resonates. We are proud to share that our firm has been named a finalist for seven 2024 Reed Awards, a recognition of the strategic, creative, and results-driven work we brought to campaigns across the country.

These nominations reflect more than just great creative and execution—they underscore our belief that building trust is the cornerstone of effective communications. In an era where misinformation runs rampant, we designed campaigns that cut through the news cycle, resonated with real people, and delivered results.

This milestone is especially meaningful because 2024 was our first full election cycle as a firm. Every single person at Spero Studio played a role in our success, even those who came to political work for the first time. We also want to thank our clients for their trust and collaboration—it is their willingness to embrace bold, culturally resonant, and data-driven storytelling that makes this work possible.

Our finalists include:

Our Work in Action

  • Winning with Frank Mrvan in Indiana-01 – Our Steel ad played a critical role in his decisive re-election victory by tapping into the identity and economic realities of steelworkers in Northwest Indiana. It not only helped rebuild trust with key voter groups but became a national fundraising tool, shown at the DNC Convention and across political events.

  • Flipping NY-04 for Laura Gillen – We knew Nassau County’s Haitian American voters had been overlooked for too long. By meeting them where they are—with dual-language Creole-English messaging on trusted platforms like The Haitian Times—we helped turn out key voters and flipped a critical House seat.

  • Elevating Climate Advocacy with Charlamagne tha God – In partnership with iHeartMedia, we worked with Charlamagne to deliver a high-impact voter engagement campaign that connected climate justice to economic opportunity and mobilized Black voters nationwide. The results? Over 1M on-air impressions and 2.7M YouTube views.

Looking Ahead

From voter engagement to advocacy, our work this cycle demonstrated the power of culturally authentic, trust-driven messaging. These wins reinforce our approach: when communities see themselves in the message, they show up.

At Spero Studio, we don’t just create campaigns—we help clients own the narrative, lead with authority, and build lasting credibility. This recognition is a testament to the team we’ve built, the trust we’ve earned, and the momentum we’re carrying forward. We’re just getting started. 🚀
