The Motley Fool is one of the nation’s leading financial and investing advice companies, founded in 1993. Since 2021, TMF has engaged Spero Studio to lead community engagement with Women, Black & Hispanic audiences, with the goal of understand their money mindset and investing behavior in order to better position The Motley Fool as a lifelong financial ally.
Together, we launched a custom curriculum and educational series for invest-ready audiences led by influencer Marsha Barnes of The Finance Bar to an audience of 250,000 Black women.
Advancing cancer health equity through policy with Amgen
In partnership with the Partnership to Advance Cardiovascular Health and Amgen, we kicked off National Minority Health Month with a virtual program to discuss the burden of cancer, disparities in diagnosis and treatment among Black Americans and the role policy plays in health equity. Guests included Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Donald Payne, Jr., Georgia State Rep. Billy Mitchell and more.
Redefining Family: Changing narratives for Black foster youth.
In 2021, Kidsave engaged Spero Studio to craft a campaign galvanizing Black families who are interested in creating relational permanency with Black foster youth. The resulting campaign, The EMBRACE Project, features a landmark Gallup Black Voices study and culminates in a national toolkit for adoption. The EMBRACE Project would not be possible without funding and support from The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Leslie Alexander Foundation.
